Business is about people. Serving, interacting, communicating, and fulfilling. Annette Avila is our “people person.”

Annette joined the team in October 2017. One of her main roles is making sure clients and advisors get together. She assists the team in the day-to-day operations of client relations, scheduling, marketing and processing client administrative requests. Annette has honed her experience as a pro, handling these duties since 2015.

Before starting her career, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Biola University. She started in sales and marketing right out of college, then entered her most rewarding career as a mother, staying home to raise her 3 kids. Her next venture was to re-enter the working class part-time as an office manager and assistant to an Accounting Firm, before finally choosing to enter the Wealth Management Industry. She worked with UBS for several years before joining the team at Parliament Wealth Management.

Annette is happily married to her husband, Frank, and they live in Huntington Beach with their little shitzupoodle mix, Harley. She is proud to support her three young adult children as they pursue higher education and start their own careers. Annette is active in her local church and in her spare time, she enjoys wine tasting, cooking, reading, traveling, spending time with her family and ladies’ bunco nights.

Most cherished family tradition

  • Something my own family started and I have continued is setting aside every Sunday evening for Sunday Supper to bring my children back to the dinner table to share our current situations, struggles, achievements, joys, sorrows or just to chat and then play games.

If a young person came to you asking what’s the most important thing for living a good life, what would you say?

  • I would say continuing with your solid base of faith, family and friends. If you surround yourself with solid faith in Christ and people who love you and understand you, then you can continue to live a good life. Family can be there to challenge you yet love you unconditionally, and friends are there to support you while expanding your views and interests.

What is your favorite 90's jam and why?

  • Good Vibrations by Markie Mark and the funky bunch. Talk about a song that gets you up out of your seat when you need to dance—which is what I love to do any chance I get! Fun, good vibes, good beat.
